A Celebrity Arrested For Allegedly Rapping a Teen Girl At a Luxury Chelsea Hotel

A celebrity choreographer was busted Sunday on charges that he raped a teen after she fell asleep at a luxury Chelsea hotel, authorities said.

NYPD officers showed up at the Maritime Hotel on W. 16th St. near Ninth Ave. around 5:30 a.m. after a 17-year-old girl called police and said she had been sexually assaulted, cops said.

Bijan Williams, 34, of Midtown, is suspected of attacking the teen after she dozed off in a room following a night of drinking in the trendy hotel, police said.

The victim, who cops say knows Williams, was slipping in and out of consciousness throughout the night before she awoke and realized Williams was having sex with her, according to police.

The teen said she later tried to leave the room, but Williams had fallen asleep in front of the door to prevent her from exiting, police said.

Williams left the room before cops arrived but was found in another part of the hotel and taken into custody.

The professional performer says online that he has worked in almost every aspect of the entertainment industry.

Williams has production credits working as a choreographer with several big-name celebrities, including Madonna, Beyoncé and JAY-Z, according to a profile on

A YouTube video taken on the set of JAY-Z’s 2009 song “Run This Town,” which featured Kanye West and Rihanna, shows Williams working on set, discussing the difference between each artist’s style and lamenting the slow pace of music video shoots.

He also had gigs working as a professional model and actor and was the owner of a music production company, Rythmik Motions Entertainment, according to his social media pages.

There was a reported incident of sexual assault at the luxury Maritime Hotel on W. 16th St. near Ninth Ave. in Chelsea early Sunday.
Williams is listed as a client at Chelsea-based management company Zanee Entertainment, according to the firm’s website. A woman answering the company’s phone Sunday afternoon said she was shocked to hear about his arrest.

“This is the first I’m hearing about this. I need to speak to my client,” she said before hanging up.

Williams studied film at Oxford University and was a premed student at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J., according to his LinkedIn profile.

In a pair of videos posted to his Facebook page, Williams eerily discusses sex and desire.
“Communication is key,” he said.

“If you are talking about the things that you desire, the things that you want, in like a calm manner prior to it being a problem or an argument. It can save relationships. It can save first dates.”

“Something has to intrigue you besides it like being totally physical, at least for me,” he added.

Cops charged him with rape and unlawful imprisonment.

At his arraignment late Sunday, Williams strode into the courtroom with his arms crossed.

Judge Heidi Cesare issued an order of protection keeping him away from the teen and released Williams without bail. He declined to comment as he left court with three unidentified family members. Williams covered his face with a white towel.

He is due back in court Aug. 9.
